Mobilians sets up U.S. offices

Mobile payment company Mobilians International Inc. launched operations in the United States.
Mobilians has offices in Washington, D.C., and San Jose, Calif. The company said it built its U.S. management team from former employees of both wireless carriers and financial companies.
Mobilians said it is in discussions with U.S. mobile operators and is entering final preparations for a mobile payment trial with an online merchant scheduled for mid 2008. The company already has operations in Asia and Europe.
